Most recently, Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua , revealed that he was removed from a WhatsApp Group known as “DIARY”. Apparently, this is the platform where the president’s diary is discussed and planned. When I heard that sensitive matters of national security are discussed on WhatsApp, I got a little worried. Is WhatsApp secure enough, do they know that some third parties might be accessing their conversations? why don’t they use Signal which is more secure?

As a Kenyan citizen keenly observing the political scene I can conclude that the political campaigns for 2027 have commenced. It is not possible for the politicians to tone down.
The debate on who is the kingpin for Mt. Kenya or “Mrima” will continue unabated. This political debates will continue spreading across the country to other communities.
It seems to me that the politicians from the Luo community have toned down their political rhetoric because their Kingpin is seeking to become the next African Union Commission chairperson and of course some of their sons such as Opiyo Wandayi are now in government. However, there are a few politicians and political activists from the region who are not happy with the current affairs.
