Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson will finish the 2019-20 season at Sheffield United after his loan deal was extended.
The 23-year-old was initially supposed to stay at Bramall Lane until the end of June. However, the Covid-19 pandemic led to the season stretching beyond June.
Henderson is in his second season with Sheffield United. He helped the Blades to secure a promotion to the English top flight from the Championship last term.
Henderson has hugely impressed for Chris Wilder’s side in the current campaign. His performances have led to suggestions that he could dislodge David De Gea as first choice goalkeeper at Old Trafford next season.
