A deaf man has sued Pornhub over violation of a federal law in the making of their videos.
Yaroslav Suris, accused pornhub of violating the rights of deaf people their rights to enjoy porn content. They find the videos hard to enjoy and the plaintiff accused the company of his rights and those of others. He specifically pointed that this is in violation of American’s with Disabilities Act.
Yaroslav pointed out that he is a premium subscription client but he found it hard to understand the video’s audio component. He also revealed that he was not able to follow the dialogue in several of the videos posted on pornhub. To prove his case, the plaintiff listed a few of the titles which do not have captions.
According to TMZ media company the plaintiff is asking the company to provide closed captioning and also to pay him damages.
“We understand that Yaroslav Suris is suing Pornhub for claiming we’ve denied the deaf and hearing impaired access to our videos. While we do not generally comment on active lawsuits, we’d like to take this opportunity to point out that we do have a closed captions category,” Said Pornhub Vice President Corey Price
