David Silva has signed for La Liga side Real Sociedad after his contract at Manchester City expired.
The former Spain international has signed a two-year contract with Sociedad.
His ten-year stay at Manchester City came to an end on Saturday with a Champions League defeat to Lyon.
David Silva was previously linked with a move to Serie A club Lazio.
However, it is Real Sociedad who have secured his signature, with Silva – who left Valencia in 2010 to continue his career in England – opting to return to La Liga.
David Silva made 436 appearances for Manchester City.
At the Etihad Stadium, Silva won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and five League Cups.

David Silva was part of the Spain squad that won the 2010 World Cup and the European championships in 2008 and 2012.
