General (Rtd.) Joseph Nkaissery is dead!

It is with sadness to report that Kenyans have lost the CS for Internal Security and National Government Coordination, General Joseph Nkaissery. He was born on 28th Nov 1949.
Nkaissery was admitted at Karen Hospital for medical check-up.
His body is at the Lee Funeral Home.
The Head of Public Service and Chief of Staff, Joseph Kinyua sent a message to the media houses regarding the death of General Nkaissery.
CS Nkaissery spend 29 years of his life in the military where he rose to the highest echelons before moving on to politics.
Joseph Nkaissery attended IIbisil Primary School (1960-1966). Then joined Olkejuado High School between 1967 – 1970. Starting from 1971 he joined Kenyatta University for a degree in education but dropped out a year later.
1985 – 1986: Studied at a military academy in India.
1996- 1997: Studied Leadership and Development at Kennedy School at Havard University, USA.
1997 – : Pursued a Post Graduate Diploma at the United States Army College.
Dr. Fred Matiang’i has been appointed to hold in brief the security docket after the demise of Gen (Retired) Joseph Nkaissery.
