Kenya provided an Ultimatum to United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) to provide a timeline for closing of Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps in Kenya.
“But sending refugees to a “home” many have never seen is no solution when conditions there have not improved,” Human Rights Watch.
Kenya should wait until the conditions stabilizes in Somali before trucking refugees back to their country.
In fact, Kenya should provide more freedom for those living in Dadaab and Kakuma Refugee camps and not close them down.
