One person has tested positive in the latest round of tests conducted in the Premier League.
A total of 1,541 players and club staff were tested in the ninth round of testing that was conducted on Monday and Tuesday.
The Premier League confirmed on Thursday that one person tested positive for Covid-19. The person is expected to self-isolate for a period of one week.
The Premier League returned to action on Wednesday. Aston Villa drew 0-0 with Sheffield United as Manchester City beat Arsenal 3-0.
