More than 4 Million coronavirus cases have been reported around the world, according to data collected by Johns Hopkins University.
The virus has also claimed more than 277,000 lives in the world.
US remains to be the worst hit country, accounting for more than a quarter of confirmed cases and a third of total deaths.
Experts have come out to warn that the number of infections is likely to be far higher, with low testing rates in many countries skewing the data.
Daily death tolls continue to drop in some nations, including Spain, but there is concern that easing lockdown restrictions this early could lead to a second wave of infections.
France has recorded its lowest daily number of Coronavirus deaths for more than a month, with 80 deaths recorded for the past 24 hours. The country is preparing to ease restrictions as from Monday, as is the government in neighboring Spain.
Meanwhile, lockdowns are continuing in countries such as South Africa despite calls from the opposition parties for it to end.
