Coronavirus cases in the United States have surpassed five million.
According to the data collected and compiled by the John Hopkins University, a total of 5,045,564 cases had been reported as of Monday at 1400HRS EAT.
The United States in the hardest hit country across the globe. The virus has claimed nearly 163,000 lives.
Brazil comes second with over 3 million cases confirmed. India comes third with 2.2 million cases.
A total of 19.8 Million cases have been confirmed across the globe. 731,570 deaths are connected with the deadly virus.
