Chris Rock has finally broken his silence after he was slapped by Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars. The slapping happened at the Wilbur Theater.
“I don’t have a bunch of s— about what happened,” he said Wednesday night.
“I had like a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m kinda processing what happened. So at some point, I’ll talk about that s—.”
Chris Rock was slapped after he made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair.
As he returned to his seat, Smith Shouted, “Keep my wife’s name out off your f—— mouth,” twice.
Will Smith has since apologized to the Academy for his behavior.
