Pedro Chirivella will leave Liverpool and join French side Nantes when his contract expires on June 30.
The 23-year-old Spaniard has found it difficult to break into Jurgen Klopp’s first-team squad.
The midfielder spent 7 years at Liverpool after joining as a teenager from his hometown club Valencia.
The former Spain youth international was out on loan at Dutch clubs Go Ahead Eagles and Willem II plus a brief stint at Spanish Segunda side Extremadura prior to coronavirus suspension. He did not play for Extremadura due to an apparent administrative error in his registration.
Chirivella will join Nantes on a three-year deal.
A Liverpool statement read: ‘’Everybody at Liverpool FC thanks Pedro for his contribution to the club and wishes him the best of luck in his future career.’’
