Eric Li also known as Li Shufu is a Chinese billionaire with a net worth of $12.8 billion. He is the chairperson for Geely Automobile Holdings which is one of the largest motor vehicle manufacturers founded in 1986.
It is one of the few companies which is not under the control of the state. The billionaire received government permit to manufacture cars in 1999.
Eric Li has been expanding his business around the globe since 2010. That is when he acquired Volvo, a Swedish brand from Ford Motor Company. He also owns stakes in Aston Martin and Lotus.
