China has ambitions to land astronauts on the moon’s south pole by the year 2030.
Already China has designed a spacesuit which will be used during the lunar mission. This was revealed by the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).
NASA has revealed that the moon’s surface experiences extreme temperatures, lunar dust and a lot of dangerous radiation.
Temperatures at the equator of the moon can be as high as 121 degrees celcius during the day and -133 degrees at night.
United States of America has not landed any astronaut on the surface of the moon since 1972.
According to the Chinese officials the vessel which will fly the astronauts is named Mengzhou which translates to Dream Vessel.
China has ambitions to establish an International Lunar Research Station at the moon’s south pole by the year 2040.
