Chelsea‘s transfer ban has been reduced by the Court of Arbitration for Sport and will be allowed to sign players in the upcoming January transfer period.
The West London Club were found guilty of failing to protect minors from trafficking, illegally registering players and prohibiting third party influence on players. The club was fined £467,000 and banned from buying players for two transfer periods.

The ban has been reduced and now manager Frank Lampard is free to buy players as he pushes for a Champions League position.
