Chelsea players took a knee on Tuesday in a powerful statement of support in the Black Lives Matter movement.
The Blues squad assembled for a photo at their Cobham training facility in which each player adopted their stance.
With each player on one knee, they lined up in an H shape, which they say stood for humans.
Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilcueta was among the Chelsea players who posted on social media: ‘’Enough is enough. We are all HUMANS. Together we are stronger.’’

The reaction follows protests across the cities in the United States following the death of George Floyd.
Floyd, an African-American man, died in the custody of police after a police kneeled on his neck as he lay on the ground.
Chelsea matched an example of Liverpool’s players, who took a knee on Monday.
Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram took a knee after scoring against Union Berlin in the German Bundesliga on Sunday. Gladbach head coach Marco Rose lauded Thuram for his action, saying he had ‘’set a good example against racism.’’
Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford tweeted on Monday: ‘’I know you guys haven’t heard from me in a few days. I’ve been trying to process what is going on in the world. At a time where I’ve been asking people to come together, work together and be united, we appear to be more divided than ever. People are hurting and we need answers. Black lives matter. Black culture matters. Black communities matter. We matter.’’
