Chelsea Manager Thomas Tuchel has been hunting for center-backs in a motive to close the gap left by the departure of Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid and Andres Christensen to Barcelona.
The transfer move included a price of £51 million with an additional £4 million add-ons. Jules Kounde is now set to undergo medical checkup before joining the blues.

The center-half always had a wish to join the blues side since they started the US tour. He is now the third signing after the arrival of Raheem Sterling followed by Kalidou Koulibaly at the bridge.
Kounde, a 23 years old youngster preferred joining Chelsea than Barcelona. He underwent a minor surgery that almost affected his transfer.
Now the Chelsea Back-line is expected to be a concrete wall after the arrival of the two center backs. But despite their backup the back-line, the Chelsea captain have to experience pressure from the two since they are superstars and play the same position.
