Kalidou Koulibaly has officially signed a deal worth £34 million with Chelsea from Napoli. The Senegalese defender has agreed a 4-year contract with the blues.
The center back has also completed his medical and now ready to join the Thomas Tuchel team in the pre-season training.
Chelsea came for Kalidou koulibali on 2016 but did not make it. Kalidou Koulibaly believes that Chelsea is a great team and had a dream to play at their side.
‘Now when they came to me I accepted it because they really wanted me to come to the Premier League to play for them. When I spoke to my good friends Edourdo [Mendy] and Jorginho they made my choice easier so I’m really happy to be with you today,’ Kalidou Koulibaly said

Kalidou Koulibaly has made 317 appearances across all competitions for Napoli. Kalidou Koulibaly is a great leader on the center back and has experience that will lead to benefits on the team.
Since the former center back for the Blues Antonio Rudiger had agreed on a move to Real Madrid for greener pastures, it is believed that now Kalidou Koulibaly is on the squad, he will cover the void left.
