Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea manager, has separated from his wife Sissi of 13 years. Now the coach is facing a multi-million-pound divorce settlement. According to media sources his wife started the divorce suit last week.
Sissi, had exhausted all avenues had been exhausted and hence reconciliation was not possible.
‘Sissi and Thomas have tried to avoid splitting but in the end there was no other way,’ said a source.
‘It is very sad and now it is all about making sure their daughters are the top priority. Papers were lodged last week to get the divorce under way.’
Sissi migrated to Britain in August after Tuchel joined Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The Chelsea coach initially stayed at an hotel and later set up a family home in Surrey not far from the Chelsea’s training ground.
Tuchel is paid £7 million per year now faces a multi-million-pound divorce deal.
Mail Online revealed that Tuchel’s wife stopped working at a Germany newspaper known as Süddeutsche Zeitung in order to raise their family.
At least 10 months ago, Mrs. Tuchel was seen running across the pitch at Estadio do Dragao and leaped into her hubby’s arms after Chelsea won 1-0 over Manchester City during the Champions League.
