ANC party Leader Musalia Mudavadi and ANC candidate for the Kibra by-election Eliud Owalo were forced to run for safety after unruly youth stoned their convoy on Sunday at the Kamukunji grounds in Kibra Constituency.
The Chairman for Kamukunji grounds Zadock Odhiambo had earlier warned Eliud Owalo against holding a rally at the grounds but he refused to obey the order.
ODM party leader Raila Amollo Odinga made a stopover at the Kamukunji grounds on Sunday afternoon before heading to Laini Saba to campaign for ODM party candidate Imran Okoth.
Few days ago, Jubilee Party Candidate for the Kibra by-election McDonald Mariga’s convoy was hit by stones by a rowdy group of youth, leading him to petition the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to take action against ODM party which he accused of orchestrating the chaos. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission dismissed the petition. The Kibra by-election is scheduled for November 7th 2019.
