Hollywood man who operated a drone that crashed into a police helicopter, forcing emergency landing and is facing a federal charge.
Andrew Rene Hernandez, 22, was arrested by Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and charged with 1 count of unsafe operation of an unmanned aircraft.
The incident happened on September 18. Andrew was using the drone to “see what was going on.”
According to Fox News, the misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in prison.
