Serie A club Cagliari have sacked Head Coach Rolando Maran after a series of poor results. The club has played 12 games without a single win.
The club announced on Monday that contracts of Maran, assistant coach Christian Maraner and analyst Gianluca Maran have all been terminated.
Walter Zenga, who is a former manager of Palermo, Sampdoria and Wolverhampton Wanderers is the leading candidate to replace Maran.
Cagliari haven’t won since December 5th when they beat Sampdoria 2-1 at home.
Cagliari sit 11th in the Serie A table, 10 points above the bottom three.
