Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been named the Premier League player for the month of June.
Fernandes, 25, has become the seventh player to win two successive Premier League Player of the month awards.
The other players who have achieved the feat include Mohamed Salah, Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dennis Begkamp and Robbie Fowler.
Fernandes joined Manchester United from Sporting CP in January and has been a key player in the team’s recent form.
The Red Devils beat Aston Villa 3-0 on Thursday becoming the first team in the history of the Premier League to win four games in a row by a margin of three or more goals.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are also unbeaten in 17 games in all competitions with Fernandes playing an integral role in the team’s performances.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has also been named the Premier League manager for the month of June after guiding his side to three successive wins following the restart of the Premier League.
Santo beat Steve Bruce, Frank Lampard and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to the award. It was the second time Santo won the accolade.
