Manchester United have extended Odion Ighalo’s loan at the club until the end of January.
The 30-year-old joined the Red Devils in January on loan from Chinese side Shangai Shenhua.
The initial loan deal was to expire at the end of May.
Manchester United do not have the option to buy the Nigeria international permanently.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: ‘’It’s been a dream for him and hopefully he can finish what he started and win a trophy with us.
‘’Shanghai Shenhua have been great towards us, allowing him to play for his dream club.’’
Ighalo scored 4 goals in 8 appearances for Manchester United before football activities were suspended due to coronavirus pandemic.
The Premier League is set to resume on 17th June.
United sit fifth in the League table, 3 points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
