Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok has nominated Bomet County Assembly Speaker Shadrack Rotich as his deputy.
Governor Barchok sent a letter attatched with Mr. Rotich’s CV and testimonials to the County Assembly for reference.
Mr. Shadrack Rotich will be vetted by the county assembly and if he’s approved hell take up the Bomet County Deputy Governors position.
Hillary Barchok was sworn in as Governor of Bomet County on August 8th 2019 following the death of his predecessor, Dr. Joyce Laboso who succumbed to cancer at Nairobi Hospital on July 2019.
Mr Rotich’s nomination could make the political temperature to rise as Governor Ngilu (Kitui) and Governor Anne Waiguru (Kirinyaga) previously implored the Governor to nominate a woman in honor of Dr. Joyce Laboso.
