Benfica have completed the signings of Jan Vertonghen, Everton Soares and Luca Waldschmidt.
Benfica announced the three signings on Friday.
Vertonghen joins Benfica as a free agent after leaving Tottenham at the end of 2019-20 season. He will wear the number 5 shirt.
Everton Soares has joined Jorge Jesus side from Brazilian side Gremio for an undisclosed fee.
Soares, who plays as a winger, has made 14 appearances for Brazil, scoring 3 times.
Waldschmidt joins Benfica from German side Freiburg. He scored 7 goals for the Bundesliga side in the 2019-20 season and helped his former side finish eighth.
The German international will wear the number 10 shirt.
Benfica finished second in the Primeira Liga 2019-20 season, five points behind champions FC Porto.
