Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo will join Juventus at the end of the current campaign in a swap deal with Bosnia international Miralem Pjanic.
Arthur Melo, 23, who joined Barcelona in 2018 from Gremio for €40M, will move to Turin for an initial £66M, with £9.1M in add-ons.
The Brazilian’s passing style has led to him being compared with Camp Nou great Xavi.
Meanwhile, Pjanic, 30, will join Barcelona at a fee of £54.m with 4.6M add-ons.
The Bosnian has made 214 appearances for Juventus, since joining the Serie A giants from AS Roma in 2016.
Pjanic has been a key player for Juve, while only last season Arthur Melo was spoken of a potential heir to Xavi.
Form and fitness issues have restricted Arthur Melo to 28 appearances and 1,541 minutes this season. Pjanic is on 36 appearances and 2,903 minutes as Juve chase their 9th consecutive Serie A title.
