Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann has suffered a thigh muscle injury, the La Liga side have confirmed.
The 29-year-old France international was replaced by Luis Suarez at half-time in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Real Valladolid.
Medical examinations on Sunday revealed that the former Atletico star damaged the quadriceps in his right leg.
The 2018 World Cup winner joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid for €120M in 2019. He is likely to miss Thursday’s La Liga match against Osasuna at Camp Nou.
