Atletico Madrid have signed striker Luis Suarez from FC Barcelona for €6M in Variables.
The 33-year-old was in the final year of his contract at Camp Nou.
Suarez is a replacement for Alvaro Morata, who joined Juventus on loan on Wednesday.
Suarez joined Barcelona from Liverpool in 2014, and went on to score 198 goals in 283 matches. He is third on Barcelona’s all-time top scorer list.
The Uruguayan won 4 La Liga titles and a Champions League as part of the 13 trophies claimed with Barca across the 6 seasons.
