Arsenal were held to 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace in the Premier League On Sunday. The Gunners went two goals up courtesy of goals from Sokratis and David Luiz in the 7th and 9th minutes respectively. Crystal Palace’s Luka Milivojevic scored from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute and Jordan Ayew levelled the scores in the 52nd minute.
It’s a tough week for manager Unai Emery as he failed to secure a win again after losing against Sheffield United last Monday.
The draw leaves Arsenal at position 5 with 16 points. Crystal Palace sit at 6th position with 15 points.
In another Premier League match that was played at the Anfield Stadium, Liverpool came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspurs 2-1. Tottenham took an early lead through forward Harry Kane within 47 seconds into the game. The game headed into halftime with Tottenham Hotspurs 1-0 up.
Liverpool’s English midfielder Jordan Henderson levelled the scores in the 52nd minute before forward Mohammed Salah converted a goal from the Spot Kick after Sadio Mane was brought down in the box in the 75th minute.
The result means Liverpool remain on top of the Premier League table with 28 points, 6 ahead of second placed Manchester City. Tottenham Hotspurs are at 11th position with 12 points.
