Arsenal forward Gabi Martinelli will miss the rest of the 2019-20 season due to a knee injury.
The Brazilian underwent a surgery after damaging the cartilage in his left knee while training on Sunday.
The 19-year-old joined Arsenal from Brazilian side Ituano ahead of the 2019-20 season. He has scored 10 goals in 26 appearances for the Gunners.
He will return to full training in ‘’two to three months’’.
Pablo Mari, who agreed a permanent deal with Arsenal, will also miss up to three months after undergoing an ankle surgery.
Cedric Soares could make his first appearance since January when Mikel Arteta’s side face Sheffield United in the FA Cup on Sunday.
Left-back Kieran Tierney will also be available to play against the Blades having overcome a cramping that forced him to be substituted against Southampton on Thursday.
David Luiz, who signed a new one-year contract at the club will also be available after serving a two-game suspension following his red card against Manchester City.
Midfilder Lucas Torreira will return to training in the coming days.
