Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati has been called up to Spain’s squad for September’s matches against Germany and Ukraine.
Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore has also been included, having missed out on making his international debut in November 2019 due to injury.
Spain head coach Luis Enrique has also called Manchester City teenage defender Eric Garcia and new signing Ferran Torres.
However, FC Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba has been left out and no Atletico Madrid player has been called up to the squad.
Next month’s games will be Spain’s first matches this year after international matches scheduled in March were postponed due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
Spain will face Germany in Stuttgart on September 3 before hosting Ukraine on September 6.
