Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has signed a new three-year contract to keep him at the club until 2023.
Gravenberch made his first-team debut for Ajax in September 2018 at 16 years and 130 old, breaking Clarence Seedorf’s record to become the club’s youngest Eredivisie player.
The Netherlands youth international has made 14 senior appearances for Ajax.
Gravenberch turned 18 last month and Ajax was struggling to tie him down to a new contract as his agent Mino Raiola was said to be offering him to clubs in Italy.
However, Ajax have now confirmed that they have agreed terms with Gravenberch, whose initial contract was to expire in 2021.
