An Antonov An-26 cargo plane crashed after take-off from Juba, South Sudan. As a result of the air crash, 17 people have lost their lives. One person on board is reported to have survived but is currently in critical condition.
According to witnesses, the cargo plane started losing height immediately after taking off from a Juba airport and crashed into a nearby firm in Juba.
The crash happened at 9 am local time. Initial reports indicated that there were only 8 people on board but now new allegations indicate that there were actually 17 people on board.
The plane was carrying food items, motorbikes, NGO salaries and spare parts.
