Sharing is Caring

President Donald Trump has come with sweeping changes some of which will affected even the US negatively.

All United States foreign assistance funded programs, including ongoing current programming, are stopped as of today. That includes CDC, USAID and PEPFAR among others.

This freeze will last up to three months. That 90 days is a review period of all foreign assistance. Clearly some of the programs will not make it alive after the review.

Most organizations that are funded majority by US foreign assistance do not have the resources to continue operations without United States of America financial support, and will likely have to end programs.

I strongly encourage those of you not in the USA to meet with your governments as soon as possible to ask that they provide funds to stopgap the most immediate needs such as ARVs.
