Kithure Kindiki has been approved by the National Assembly of Kenya and now he is the deputy president-elect. This was communicated by National Assembly Speaker Hon. Moses Wetangula.
A total of 236 Members of Parliament voted yes, zero voted No and zero were absent.
The Speaker, Hon. Moses Wetangula to communicate the outcomes to President William Ruto and sign a gazette Notice in that effect.
For the last three days parliament has worked very hard in the impeachment of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. If they continue working so hard, Kenya will be a better place.

Kithure Kindiki will soon be sworn in and eventually assume the office of the Deputy President. He will migrate with his family to the official residence for the Deputy Presidency in Karen.
Further, President Ruto will again nominate another Kenyan to be the Cabinet Secretary for Interior to replace Kithure Kindiki. I predict that this will be done as soon as possible to avoid any gaps in service delivery if any.
