Farmers in Nakuru County have experienced a bumper maize harvest in 2024. This is due to good rainfalls which was experienced in the area.
This is the first time in 5 years that I have seen farmers struggling to find canvas for drying their maize. Some of the farmers resorted to drying their maize on the bare ground.
