Rachel Laidler, 55, launched a protest against the fast food company which displayed a banner ten minutes before opening a new restaurant.
Rachel was with her husband Peter, 70, who allege that McDonald’s has destroyed their perimeter wall. They erected a banner reading “We’re not Loving it”
The restaurant had dug a water treatment tank less than two meters from their wall which made their perimeter wall to crack.
The couple has propped up the wall using pallets and rubble. Wooden posts were used to hoist the banner. They fear that the wall will fall and damage their home.
McDonald’s received planning permissions to install the underground waster water treatment tank last year despite the 595 objections raised by the locals.
This happened in Bradford council in the United Kingdom.
