The billionaire launched African Rainbow Capital which is a private equity company. He also owns a stake in Sanlam which is a financial services company. He owns Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club which he chairs.

 

In March 2021, Patrice Motsepe was elected president of Confederation of African Football. This is the football governing body in Africa.

 

Patrice Motsepe became the first black partner of Bowman Gilfillan law firm in Johannesburg in 1994. He later started a mining business.
