Koos Bekker businesses have enabled him to generate his net worth of $2.7 billion. He transformed Naspers into a powerful cable TV and e-commerce investor.

 

At the fore front of Koos Bekker businesses is Naspers which he used to acquire a $34 million stake of Tencent Holdings in 2001. This was the greatest investment venture ever for them.

 

In 2019, Nespers invested in MultiChoice as well as in Prosus which holds the Tencent shares. Naspers nowadays owns 25% of Tencent Holdings after having sold its shares over the years.
