Saad Eddin Ibrahim, Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak critic, has died at age 85.
Saad Eddin Ibrahim was a serious advocate of minority rights in Egypt and an acclaimed scholar.
Saad Eddin Ibrahim was born in 1938 near the city of Mansoura. He founded two human rights organizations: The Ibn Khaldun Center for Development Studies and the Arab Organization for Human Rights.
During his years abroad, Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak critic taught in Lebanon and USA.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, and his 2 children, Randa and Amir.
