Kenya has been exporting titanium since 2014. This is the largest mining operation in Kenya.
Production
“Production of titanium ore minerals recorded a growth of 7.0 per cent from 549.9 thousand tonnes in 2015 to 588.4 thousand tonnes in 2016.”
Earnings
During the review period, earnings from titanium ores increased from KSh12.8 billion to KSh 13.3 billion.
