Arsenal, PSG and Barcelona have been placed on UEFA watch list following their reporting a loss of £213 million over the past 3 seasons hence possibly violation of financial fair play rules soccer

 

UEFA rules only accept £25 million over  a period of three years. However, UEFA also allows losses associated with Covid-19. 

 

For the past two seasons Arsenal FC has spent a lot of money. In fact, they were the top spenders in the Premier League. The club spent £150 million on Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White and others. Arsenal purchased Fabio Vieira, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko. 

 

According to the Daily Mail of UK, at least 20 clubs in Europe are in possible violation of financial fair play rules and regulations for the 2021/2022 season by UEFA.

UEFA  told the media that they are waiting for the final accounts of the teams listed above to determine whether there is a violation of financial fair play rules and regulations. So far it is unclear what kind of punishment the teams will be issued with.
