Darius Campbell, 41, was found unresponsive in his apartment in the United States. Darius is remembered for his rendition of Britney Spears’ Baby One More Time in 2001.

Campbell was found dead on his bed on August 11. The cause of his death is not yet discovered but according to the police department, there were no suspicious conditions.

The investigations department has already kicked off the process to determine the main cause.

According to reports, Darius Campbell has escaped death two times. He first escaped through an accident while the second, he went into a coma. Tribute paying is ongoing in support of the family.

 Darius’s family said in a statement: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darius Campbell.

“Darius was found unresponsive in bed in his apartment room in Rochester, Minnesota, on August 11 and was pronounced dead in the afternoon by the local medical examiners’ office.

“The local police department have confirmed that there were no signs of intent or suspicious circumstances.

“The cause of his sudden death is unknown at this stage while medical examinations continue.

“We ask that you kindly respect our wishes for privacy at this time whilst we come to terms with the tragic loss of our son and brother.”

Darius Campbell was a songwriter, singer and an actor. Some of his singles include Colourblind, that became a hit immediately after release in 2002.

His first love was Natasha Henstridge, a Canadian actress. They got married in 2011 but broke up after a while.

Darius found another love in 2016, Daisy Lowe. He won the series of ITV’s Popstar To Operastar contest and a few months later, he got a role as a cast of Carmen at London’s 02 Arena.
