Ezekiel Barng’etuny was a close associate of former President Daniel Moi. They attended the same school in Kapsabet, Nandi County.
In his early days Ezekiel served at an auction in Baringo County where they sold goats, cows and sheep in large numbers. The auction was established by Daniel Moi to improve the living standards of the residents in the area.
Ezekiel owns a farm land over 2,000 acres in Nandi where he was known to practice a lot of farming.
He owned a fleet of high end motor vehicles which was a testament that he was not a poor man.
Barng’etuny Plaza in Eldoret and Kapsabet belongs to the former nominated MP who served both in Jomo Kenyatta and Daniel Moi governments.
Ezekiel was a renowned businessman with many interests in the Rift Valley region.
Ezekiel Barng’etuny died in 2013.
