The former Prime minister Raila Odinga claims that he will accommodate Musalia Musavadi if he wins in the coming general elections.
Raila, a presidential candidate under the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition said this during his campaign trail in Vihiga County.
Mudavadi had supported Raila’s presidential bid three times in the past elections . This includes; 2007, 2013 and 2017. Though they were close to winning, they missed their targets.
Mudavadi who supports the Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate, William Ruto, has been promised a position by the ODM leader in front of Vihiga residents. Vihiga is the home county for Musalia Mudavadi.
“Mudavadi is like my son even though he went to the other side, when we form the government, I will call him,” Raila stated.
Raila also encouraged the Vihiga residents to vote for Azimio candidates in elective seats. This is to ensure that it becomes easier for him to make rules and regulations if he wins the elections.
Musalia and Raila started to walk in different directions in January 2022, after Musalia’s decision to back the Deputy President William Ruto’s bid.
