Rigathi Gachagua, a Kenya Kwanza deputy presidential running mate under William Ruto has sued John Michael, a retired civil servant over the piece of land. Gachagua said that John acquired the title deed of the land illegally and later registered it to a company by the name Columbus Two Thousand Ltd.
The piece of land is located at Nairobi near the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Rigathi Gachagua who is currently a Mathira Member of Parliament said that he purchased the parcel of land for Sh24 million.
John on the other hand was the director of physical planning when the incident happened.
The claims comes after Rigathi declared during the Debate for the Deputies with Martha Karua that he is worth Sh800 million.
