Calvin Bassey has signed a £19 million contract with Ajax from Rangers. The Nigerian defender is set to replace Lisandro Martinez who has already joined Manchester United on £46 million deal.
The defender is attracting much interest from the Series A and Bundesliga with at least seven sides tracking the youngster.
The defender who has two year left on his contract with the Rangers made 50 appearances across all competitions in the last season and was the key for Rangers victory in the Scottish Cup in May.
