ABUJA, NIGERIA: From 25th to 27th October, 2021 the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) will be commemorating their 50th Anniversary and holding their 49th Annual General Meeting. This is expected to happen at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, Nigeria.
Among the guests expected to grace the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria event is President Muhammadu Buhari where he will engage in a discussion on Nigeria’s manufacturing sector. The meeting will be opened by the Governors of Jigawa and Edo States: Muhammad Abubakar Badru and Godwin Obaseki as well as the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment – Otunba Adebayo.
The current Director-General of the World Trade Centre, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, is expected to deliver her presentation titled “The Trajectory of Nigerian Manufacturing Sector: Resetting for Global Competitiveness.”
The three-day event will close with a private session for Manufacturers Association of Nigeria stakeholders and an anniversary dinner and an award session to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the manufacturing sector.
The 49th MAN Annual General Meeting is sponsored by Dangote Group, CIG Motors, Bank of Industry, Afreximbank, British American Tobacco (BAT), African Industries Group, Shell Gas, International Tobacco Marketing and Raw Materials Research and Development Council, just to name a few.
The event will be streamed online on YouTube and Facebook for the general public and attendance is on invitation only.
