Sharing is Caring

Let us have a look at the profile of Jon Morrow blogger. A blogger extraordinaire. He was able to overcome great obstacles in order to reach the top in blogging world.

I read stories about Tim Sykes, Melyssa Griffin, Sarah Titus, Chiara Ferragni, Pat Flynn, John Lee Dumas, Jon Morrow, Jeff Rose and Alborz Falla.

I was touched by the story of Jon Morrow because he generates $1 million (approx. KES 110 million) per year from blogging.

More importantly, I was inspired by the fact that Jon Morrow blogger lives on an electric wheelchair and cannot type on a keyboard like most of you and me. He was suffering from a condition known as muscle dystrophy

According to healthline.com, “Muscular dystrophy is a group of inherited diseases that damage and weaken your muscles over time. This damage and weakness is due to the lack of a protein called dystrophin, which is necessary for normal muscle function. The absence of this protein can cause problems with walking, swallowing, and muscle coordination.”

Jon Morrow blogger was born with spinal muscular atrophy. This is a medical condition which leads to complete atrophy and eventually to death!

The only part of Jon Morrow’s body that moves is his lips and eyes. This condition has not stopped him from succeeding in his blogging. He uses speech recognition technologies to type content for his blog Smart Blogger

Jon Morrow blogger is the most committed blogger I’ve read about this evening. He starts working at 8 am and finishes his day at 11 pm at night. He does all his blogging from home speaking into a microphone.

Jon Morrow blogger has had pneumonia 16 times and recovered more than 50 times from broken bones. His annual medical bill in the United States of America before he migrated to Mexico was $120,000.

During his blogging time, Jon Morrow blogger reads, writes and connects with other bloggers. He never watches any television, chats with friends or chases girls down the street.

I’ve learnt that you can achieve a lot when you go into anything including blogging with all that you have. That is how we will do it going forward.
