Democratic Republic of Congo President, Felix Tshisekedi, has taken over as the new chairperson of the African Union (AU) for 2021-2022. Felix Tshisekedi is taking over from South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa whose term was marked by the challenges brought about by Coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
Symbols of Pan African bloc were presented to the new Chairman by Moussa Faki Mahamat the African Union Commission Chairperson.
